Chocolate fudge recipe

I had bought lot of different kinds of cooking chocolates last year to make some brownies and cakes. But I never found time to use them. I realized they were nearing the expiry date. I was contemplating whether to use them in brownies or the fudges. I thought it would yield too many fudges and will remain uneaten and end up in trash.
I went ahead with the fudge recipe. It did yield enough fudges and I had my own fears when I was pouring the mixture on to the pan. Later I convinced myself that if they are not eaten , then probably I will find a way to use them in some chocolate cake.
But then here I was completely wrong. When I had the first bite and a few , I did not even realize the amount of bars I had consumed. They were so delicious and immediately got a request to make some more soon. Sure, I will be making them in a few days.I have to keep in mind ,about the calories involved here as they are certainly too irresistable and very addictive!!!!

2.Combine all the ingredients(except walnuts)in a slightly bigger bowl.
3.When the water heats up slightly, place the bowl on it on a low flame.

4.Grease a pan using butter and line with a butter paper or parchment paper or a grease proofbaking sheet.
5. Meanwhile keep stirring the chocolate mixture . The chocolate melts and all the ingredients combine well together. It takes around 10 minutes.
6.Now its the time to add the choppped walnuts. Mix well.

7. Pour the chocolate mixture on a prepared pan. Level using a spatula.
8. Let it chill in a refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
9. Slice into squares with a knife.
10. You can remove the paper from the pan. This will make the removing and seperating the fudges easier. Refrigerate for more time so that the fudge sets well and makes your work easy.

Notes-
1.You can use chocolate chips or any form of cooking chocolate for this.I used a combination of chocolate chips , a cooking chocolate bar and some chocolate squares too to make up 450gm.
2. Use any other chopped nuts in place of walnuts. You can even use a combination of nuts and raisins.
3. I refrigerated the fudges overnight so removing and seperating the fudges was very easy and less messy.
4. You can even do this in a microwave. But take care of not burning the chocolate. Remove from the microwave and stir in regular intervals to prevent burning.
