I had bought a pack of digestive biscuits sometime ago. But somehow I did not feel like having them. I thought of making a biscuit pudding or some dessert with it. I browsed the net and got some really yummy recipes especially this fabulous royal wedding cake.
But as I am always short of time nowadays , I wanted a simple and easy one. So I went ahead with this recipe. It tasted so delicious and was over in no time. So do make this simple dessert when you are craving for something chocolatey and when you have a excess of marie or digestive biscuits.

Condensed milk chocolate fudge
Recipe courtesy- Nags of edible garden
Ingredients-
Digestive biscuits- 15 pieces/numbers
Cocoa powder- 3tbsp
Sugar- 1tbsp
Sweetened Condensed milk- 1/2 can from a 400gm tin(milkmaid)
Walnuts- 1/2 cup finely chopped
Method-
Grind the digestive biscuits to a fine powder. Take it in a mixing bowl. Add cocoa powder followed by sugar and the nuts. Mix well. Now add the condensed milk gradually mixing it. The mixture is very thick at this point and you have put some effort to mix it properly. Use a sturdy spoon to mix.
Line a tray with baking paper/parchment paper/butter paper. Put this mixture on it and spread it with a spoon. Use your wet fingers to smoothen the top. Now place this in a refrigerator for a minimum of 4-5 hours. Cut them into pieces and serve. The longer you refrigerate, it gets better- non sticky and crunchy.
Notes-
The original recipe uses marie biscuits. So you can use either of them.
Use nuts of your choice- hazelnuts, cashews, almond, pecans etc. Toast it a little before adding if you want.
You can omit sugar as you are adding sweetened condensed milk. But I felt a little sugar is necessary for this recipe.
