Nutella is a favourite thing in my place. I am sure it is for many of you too. Recipes with nutella is always a hit.I can say that confidently when I see the nutella recipes pinned and repinned a thousand times especially the 5 minute microwave nutella mug cake and the nutella hot chocolate coffee and the milkshake with bananas.

I saw this cake recipe in the pinterest and have made it so many times by now. Its always a hit at home. My son loves them a lot. I was surprised to see him having more than 3 pieces in one go!! Sure a keeper, I can vouch on this!! And whats more, it needs only three ingredients-  easy and quick. Try and let me know about it!!

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Mix well.
  3. (You can microwave the nutella for a few seconds to loosen it up so that it is easy for mixing. But I did not do it.)
  4. Arrange the muffin liners in a muffin pan. Pour the batter in each cup.
  5. Bake them for 20 minutes at 180c.
  6. Insert a skewer in center to check if it is done.
  7. Remove from the oven.
  8. Cool and serve.
Recipe Notes

Notes- You can throw some nuts into the batter if you wish.

  8. Tried this this weekend…..cooked them at 200 degrees (that was the lowest the oven we were using would go) and cooked them longer than the 20 minutes. They never set up…they were basically just warm mush….wouldn’t recommend this recipe

@Darlene- I am not sure what went wrong …I have made this a number of times by now and has worked well always…I have many readers too who have tried this recipe and has worked awesome…in fact if you google ,you will find the same recipe in many blogs..so certainly there is no problem with the recipe..it’s a tried and tested recipe..thanks for your feedback..

  10. The recipe calls for baking the muffins at 180 degrees centigrade. The conversion is approximately 350 degrees farenheit. If you cook in an American kitchen, which it sounds like as American ovens typically only go down to 200 degrees f, you needed to adjust.
