I usually try to make make our dinner light and balanced. We usually don’t opt for rice in the night as its too tempting especially if there is delicious side dish along with it and then we end up eating more. So its usually a millet variety with a side dish or some kind of upma with either semolina or cracked wheat. Sometimes, I make a sandwich with different ingredients and my kids love this kind of food for dinner. So when I made it last time, I decided to use lentils as well as vegetables to make it wholesome. So hop over to the recipe to find out how I made it.
We really loved it and am going to make more of this kind in future. Just one sandwich was quite filling and also satisfying as it was quite healthy too!!
Sandwiches is always a favourite and both young and old love it equally. I also made a very simple sandwich yesterday for a get together, actually a vegetable sandwich put together in a hurry. It was quite good and everyone appreciated a lot. I will be making it again and will post it soon. By the way , we had a a very enjoyable get together after a stressful october. We enjoyed playing with the kids and revived our childhood memories. It was a fun filled evening and hope to have more in future.
