Bye bye 2014 – A recap

This year 2014 is soon going to end and I am not just able to believe this that its happening so soon. It only seems like yesterday when I posted a recap of the last year 2013. I decide to follow the tradition of this recap which I started last year and summarize the happenings.I had promised myself to be more active and organised in blogging. I have been successful to some extent and have done my best here along with managing a two year old daughter, elder one entering primary school, a minor health issue and a surgery. But no complaints, I have enjoyed each aspect thoroughly. I have posted every month and this year saw some 80 + posts though I wanted to do a few more than this.

As usual , I keep receiving mails from my readers every now and then about the recipes they tried and how it turned out for them .So this messages keeps me going and inspires me to do more. This year, I had many close friends and relatives who started visiting my blog and giving me positive feedback about it. Before this year, my blog was only known to a few close friends. Thanks to social media .

The most wonderful thing which happened this year was getting mentioned and a few recipes featured in Deccan chronicle which I consider as a achievement .

This year , I have focussed more on low fat and healthy recipes. I have added lot of wholegrains in my cooking and baking. Each recipe has been quite unique and different from the usual day to day cooking. Please go through the index to find about it.

I do hope to do a better job next year.So please so keep visiting me and encouraging me as you always do. You can always keep yourself updated by liking/visiting my Fb pageor following me on google plus.

Top Posts of this year – Based on the viewers feedback (no proper order), But I recommend you to have a look at all the recipes posted this year as the list hardly justifies the uniqueness of each recipe posted.
