My sister had once suggested to try a stir fry with it using onions and all. So when I got the stem last month, I decided to make it this way. It was spicy and delicious and it really tasted great with phulkas. We all enjoyed it and am sure I will making this again and again.
Similar to my lauki kofta recipe, I used shallow fry method in a aebelskiver pan to cook the koftas which otherwise can be deep fried too. So its your choice on how to cook the koftas.And then in the end I have added a little cream to make the gravy slightly richer.
I made the sauce with cashews and coriander this time. I have been wanting to use nuts for a long time. Cashews almost gave a cheesy taste and coriander a nice flavour. On the whole, the pasta was quite delicious and we all loved it.
The cake has a distinct mango flavour and proper sweetness. It feels delicious to bite into the extra sweetness of the mango bits which is added into it.

Kids were amazed to the see the beautiful red colour pasta unlike the usual white pasta they have always relished till now. Though I do make different kinds of pasta sauces nowadays, they are not fond of all the varieties . But this one was different.
When I visited kailas parbat for the first time, something which really piqued my interest were their chole baturas. Of course, it was not the first time, I was coming across or having chole baturas. To tell you the fact, I have had the authentic ones during our stay in Delhi. I have devoured different varieties of them and have really enjoyed them to the core. But here in Kailas parbat, they had something different to offer.
This time I decided to use the basil pesto sauce about which I had mentioned about in my last post.I had had this basil pesto pasta in an Italian restaurant few months ago and liked the taste. But my kids found the taste a bit weird and are yet to acquire a taste for basil pesto.
I have also been making pancakes. I use healthy and different ingredients each time. I normally use whole wheat flour or oats. And then , I drizzle with some sugarcane syrup before I serve. This syrup was given by a friend and it has been a great thing. We have totally enjoyed it. My kids also love these pancakes and eat them in a jiffy without making a fuss leaving a satisfied me!!!
