I have used some jowar/sorghum flour of which I had some in the freezer. I wanted to use something healthy and thinking of whole wheat flour or oats, I finally decided to make with millet. You can try using any kind of millet flour. I have not tried but am sure it would work as long as there is chocolate in it. You can even use whole wheat flour instead of maida. The texture would be a bit more chewy in that case. And please feel free to use any kind of sugar you have. I have used orange marmalade here . I have always loved the combination of orange and chocolate.
I had made this brownies a couple of months ago for my kids snacktime. They love anything with chocolate and I promptly sneaked in some sweet potatoes making the brownies healthier. Walnuts give a nice crunch and chocolate just enhance the taste. They had a nice texture and were really delicious. Kids enjoyed and sweet potatoes imparts the necessary sweetness , So I have added very little sugar to it in the end.
The recipe was just decided on an impulse. I had some cream cheese nearing expiry date. I had made this delicious banana bread with the cream cheese. So I thought of using the rest in the cookies. I never imagined it to be so good.
This time I used pumpkin. Its a very simple recipe and can be done in a few minutes. This is also an interesting way to sneak in some pumpkin in your diet especially if you are a pumpkin hater. Many people I know hate pumpkin as they find it quite sweet for their taste. But in this recipe , you actually cant guess that there is pumpkin. Also cashews gives a nice creaminess to the pasta.
This particular bread happened when I had the abundance of all the required ingredients. I had seen this recipe recently and I love it as it was a bit unusual than rest of the banana breads we usually bake. I had bought some cream cheese couple of months ago and I had to use them.
I thought the mango flavour in the icecream was so intense that the cake would taste great.The cake tasted good and to my surprise kids loved it too. I love to have a small slice with my coffee in the evening.

My sister had once suggested to try a stir fry with it using onions and all. So when I got the stem last month, I decided to make it this way. It was spicy and delicious and it really tasted great with phulkas. We all enjoyed it and am sure I will making this again and again.
Similar to my lauki kofta recipe, I used shallow fry method in a aebelskiver pan to cook the koftas which otherwise can be deep fried too. So its your choice on how to cook the koftas.And then in the end I have added a little cream to make the gravy slightly richer.
