This has become one of my favourite breakfast nowadays.I have always been wanting to make this, but kept postponing it. Recently during our Bangkok trip, we had had yogurt and fruit mix everyday during our breakfast among several other continental dishes served at our hotel where we were staying. My hubby reminded me to try it at home as he had really enjoyed this particular thing. As I had bought some really delicious and sweet cherries, I decided to make parfait with it. Usually I don’t buy cherries as they are really expensive. But this time, they were damn cheap and tasted great. I did not have a heart to bake them or puree them or deform them in any way and wanted to have them as it is. Parfait seemed a perfect idea as we get to have the fresh cherries as such. We really enjoyed it.
This time, I used store bought granola coated with raspberries and all which made the parfait all the more delicious. But I do plan to make granola at home and will also post it soon. After this, I have made parfait with different fruits almost everyday and have enjoyed it to the core. Not only have my taste buds has enjoyed this one, but my body has been enjoying it too. I feel so good and light, but its quite filling too. So do try making this and enjoy the goodness of this healthy and delicious breakfast.
