Pooris have always been a favourite dish at my place. I try to make them atleast once a month especially for my son who loves them. I have had different variations of pooris when I was in Maharashtra at friend ‘s place and my mom used to make them too.
I also have posted a version of pooris with spinach too. Once our neighbour served us this pooris along with a tangy homemade lemon pickle and the combo was just awesome. It was a very easy to make instant pickle where the lemon was deseeded and ground a little in the blender and mixed with a commecially available pickle masala(spice powder). So this combo was always made at our place and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Though I have never tried making the pickle here, I make this masala pooris once in a while and we simply love it for our weekend brunch. This time I served with a simple potato curry.
