Masala tea – Masala chai recipe

I was watching a comedy hindi serial few months ago where the entire serial revolved around masala tea. Two charecters in the serial crave for a delicious masala tea and  go to several places asking for it, but they end up in the police station due to some troublemakers. In the end , the police himself serves them the tea. By the time the serial was over, I was craving for some masala tea.

I personally dont buy any tea masala powder and dont usually make it at home too. So I decided to make it with the whole spices which we usually have at home. The tea tasted so yum that it has ever since become a regular thing. I am the only person at my home who likes to have tea and coffee. So I have to make only a cup and enjoy the advantage of adding the spices which I am craving at the moment. I sometimes add cardamom powder, whole cinnamon or cinnamon powder or even lemon grass. I like the spicy taste of my tea and its quite soothing especially when you are having a cold or fever. Its quite refreshing and I especially love to have it after my nap. Hope you all try and love it too!!
