This is one snack prepared in south usually for afternoon tea or coffee. This is extented verison of dal vada or parappu vadai we usually make during the festivals. Only thing is its made more flavourful with the spicy ingredients. Though the dal is ground to a very coarse paste and is kept very dry, I usally prefer to grind it to a fine paste adding few drops of water and leave a few pieces unground as I dont prefer it to be too dry.
I have already made this a few times and has been liked by all. Last time, I made it for a get together. It goes really well with some tea.You may not even know how many vadas you have gulped down before your tea is over,very addictive snack!! I have referred to the Raks recipe especially for the ingredients used , but modified the way of making it slightly.
