This icecream recipe really intrigued me.
It does not require icecream machine.
It does not have to beaten again and again to avoid crystals.
It is eggless.
It requires just 2 ingredients.
Its a fool proof recipe. The icecream is really going to be soft and creamy,
Its really going to impress your loved ones.
So I had to give this a try. I immediately went to the supermarket and got some whipping cream.
I got my things ready on my kitchen table. To my luck, the electric beater gave off:(
I was unable to find my whisk.
I had to use my spatula. I kept on beating the cream, it thickened . I got excited seeing the way it was turning up. I was also in midst of phone call, I beat the cream so hard till it turned to butter!!Then I stopped and then baked a cake instead.
But I was so restless about trying this recipe. I went and bought the cream again. As my beater was not working, I used my whisk and I was also a bit worried about it turning into butter again. I was cautious this time. I thickened and formed soft peaks and I stopped.But you have to do it a tad more till it forms stiff peaks and also doubles in volume. But the result was wonderful. It was soft and creamy and delicious too!! So I do have plans of using this recipe to make other flavours too. But that will be after a few days as I am not comfortable using rich cream and condensed milk so often. But of course, I have been trying more icecream varieties without cream and all and will post it soon!!
