Cook the chickpeas in the pressure cooker till it turns soft. Cook the potatoes and mash them well.
In a mixing bowl, add the mashed potatoes and chickpeas.
Add the chopped cucumber, carrots, onions and tomatoes.
Add the coriander leaves.
Add red chilly powder,salt and chaat masala.
Add the dates tamarind chutney.
Mix everything well together.
Add boondi or sev and mix.
Serve immediately with a little curd on the top if you wish.
