Soak the chickpeas overnight.
Cook it in a pressure cooker till it turns soft, but not mushy.
In a salad mixing bowl,take the chopped onions and tomatoes.
Add the paneer cubes and cooked chickpeas.
Add the coriander.
In a small bowl, add the olive oil and tamarind pulp.
Add the turmeric powder,red chilly powder ,salt and sugar. Mix everything well together.
Add it to the chickpea mixture. Mix well.
In your serving bowl, place two lettuce leaves at the bottom. Place your mixed salad on them and serve.
