Finally as I had promised in my previous post that I will be back to blogging from january,I am here with a new recipe. November and december months were quite busy with our trip to India. We had a good time with family and friends,eat a lot and travelled to different places. I had a few people out there who encouraged me to blog regularly. I had done a fair job in blogging last year by posting atleast one or two recipes a month. I hope to do a better job this year. I am also quite active in instagram. You can see some of the pictures taken in India too. But I could not click food pictures everywhere I went as I used to forget or I would be too hunger myself or too busy with the kids around!!!
So now ,we are back to Singapore and getting back to the routine as schools have reopened. I have started with the usual cooking. I had made this brownies a couple of months ago for my kids snacktime. They love anything with chocolate and I promptly sneaked in some sweet potatoes making the brownies healthier. Walnuts give a nice crunch and chocolate just enhance the taste. They had a nice texture and were really delicious. Kids enjoyed and sweet potatoes imparts the necessary sweetness , So I have added very little sugar to it in the end. If you try this recipe, please add sugar according to the sweetness you prefer.You may want more or less than the given quantity.
