This version of pasta has always been my favourite. I love the cheesy flavour and the addition of choice of vegetables makes it healthy and colourful. Though a little high in calories, I do make this once in a while as its a family favourite too!!!
Saltif necesary( butter and cheese will contain the necesary salt)
Boil the pasta in water along with some salt. Drain the water when the pasta is fully cooked and wash it under running water so that they dont stick to each other.
Heat butter in a pan. Add the chopped vegetables and saute till it becomes tender.
Now prepare the white sauce-
Melt the butter in a pan. Add the cheese. Now add the flour. Mix. Now add milk slowly stirring well. Ensure there are no lumps. Add the pepper and salt if necessary. Allow it to thicken. Now add the Cooked vegetables and cooked pasta. Add the dried herbs and mix thoroughly.
Now transfer this to a baking bowl. Sprinkle some cheese on the top. Bake at 180c for 15 to 20 minutes.
